A Belated Crowleymas Thought:

From the Master of Golden Thread Camp

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Baby Edward was born on October 12th, 1875 – he was both tongue tied and afflicted by phimosis (a condition where the foreskin is so tight that it constricts & strangles the glans penis). Procedures were required to cut away the restrictive tissue and allow his ability to speak and the use of his sexual organ to begin to develop.
Crowley dedicated the rest of his life to establishing a Law that would guarantee all individuals the right to develop their speech, their sexuality- indeed all of their attributes without unnecessary restriction.

He provided for procedures (i.e. Initiations) to remove our restrictions. He provided tools to begin to develop our attributes (Holy Books, Yoga, practices, etc.). And, once developed, lifelong practices to utilize them (Magick, Yoga, Promulgation, etc.)

If you choose to mark Crowley’s birth, mark it by expresses your freedom of speech and sexuality and by aiding in the cutting away of the unnecessary restrictions that are constricting the freedom of others.
Love is the law, love under will.
